Graceland Housing feels great pleasure in announcing the issuance of Full and Final NOC from Ministry of Defence. This by no standards is a small achievement. In this connection MOD Letter No.6/17/Misc/D-28/2005 dated 11th March 2008 may be cited for reference. |

Work is in full progress and the project is coming up exactly as it was conceived on the standards of DHA phase II Islamabad. Work on Main Boulevard is in full swing. The culverts on Main Boulevard and on Avenue I and II for drainage of rain water is nearing completion. |

Work is also in progress on water supply pipelines and sewerage system manholes in the frontal area. |

The heavy monsoon rains caused lot of damage to the earth work of roads done earlier in the scheme; there were deep rain cuts and ravines. |
|

Repair and restoration work is in progress but the recent winter rains and severe cold weather conditions intermittently obstructed that over the last more than one month now. |
|
|
|
Beside restoration works, other original development works like construction of Box-Culvert on Major road M-1 has been completed and work on Box-Culverts on Avenues and construction of drains for the disposal of rainwater is in progress. |

Pipe drains in the Central median of major road M-1 is in progress alongwith rainwater chambers, catch pits and gratings. |

The progress of development work was at its lowest ebb during this period due to heavy monsoon rains in the area. However, with our concerted efforts N.O.C was obtained from Environmental Protection Department, Lahore Government of Punjab after fulfilling all their requirements and meeting their concerns regarding the usual environmental issues involved in the development of housing scheme like assuring safe piped water supply and Sewage Treatment Plant besides the proper Solid Waste Management and its disposal. |

Cutting and filling of earth for roads in streets of:
- Sector D: Street No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10 and 15.
- Sector E: Street No.3 and 4.

The Graceland Housing Scheme was declared clear of the ‘Negative Area’ by the Ministry of Defence Government of Pakistan and a Gazette Notification was issued to this effect in April 2007. |
